About Juta
From a village of a thousand people to a life she built herself
Juta Heniņa grew up in a small village of about a thousand people in Latvia. She left home at sixteen, eventually crossing an ocean and rebuilding her life from nothing in the United States. For most of those years she ignored the quiet voice in her chest that kept telling her which way to go — until ignoring it nearly cost her everything. She wrote Following the Signs because, in her words, silence almost killed her. Today she is the founder of Align the Signs, where she helps others learn to hear and trust the voice inside of them.

In her words
I didn't set out to write a book. I set out to survive.
“I wrote it for everyone who doesn't see themselves in success stories because their story doesn't seem important enough, or feels too messy. For my mother, who is stronger than anyone I know.
What I hope people take from it is simple: the signs are everywhere. You are already receiving them. My whole life changed the day I stopped explaining them away and started trusting the voice that had been right there all along.
That voice is not special to me. Everyone has it. Most of us were just taught not to listen.”
